Leandro Aparecido Passos Júnior is graduated in Informatics from Jaú’s Faculty of Technology – FATEC (Brazil, 2009). He received his M.Sc. in Computer Science from São Paulo State University (UNESP) (Brazil, 2015) and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) (Brazil, 2018). During 2019-2021, he had worked as a post-doctorate researcher at UNESP. Currently, he is engaged as a researcher at the University of Wolverhampton (UK). He has experience in Machine Learning and deep learning, acting on subjects related to clustering, classification, anomaly detection, image reconstruction, and optimisation, among others. Most of his works employ graph- and energy-based approaches, as well as nature-inspired meta-heuristic algorithms.
