Ronaldo Cristiano Prati is currently an Associate Professor at Federal University of ABC (UFABC), campus Santo André. At UFABC, he leaded the creation (in 2011) and was the head of the graduate program in Computer Science from 2011 to 2015. He has published several papers in major conferences and journals, and a book published by Springer. He coordinated projects financed by Brazilian research-funding agencies FAPESP and CNPq in the area of Machine Learning and Data Mining. His current research interests include machine learning and data science, with applications in several areas including smart irrigation and computational chemistry.
