Luiz Manoel Rocha Gadelha Júnior is a Senior Technologist at the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC), Brazil and member of the Data Extreme Lab (DEXL) research group. He received his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Brasília, Brazil. He received his D.Sc. degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He has published around 22 articles in journals and peer-reviewed conference proceedings. He has been involved in the development of scientific workflows management systems and scientific databases for bioinformatics and biodiversity projects. His main interests are Data Science, Machine Learning, Reproducibility, and Parallel Computing.
