Mariza Ferro received her M.Sc. degree n Computer Science from University of São Paulo focused on Relational Machine Learning. PhD in Computational Modeling from the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC). Postoctoral fellow at LNCC in the Projects “HighPerformance Computing for Energy (HPC4E)” and “MedicineAssisted by Scientific Computing (MACC)”. She has experience in Computer Science, acting on the following subjects: Machine Learning, Inductive Logic Programming, Data Mining, High Performance Computing and performance evaluation. Currently, she is a post-doctorate researcher at LNCC working in the use of Artificial Intelligence to improve performance and to reduce energy consumption for HPC and the application of Machine Learning concepts aiming to understand and to improve the performance of scientific simulations.
