Vitória Barin Pacela is a master’s student in Data Science at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the same institution. She has worked at the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (MILA) on machine learning applied to climate change. She has also worked at Caltech and CERN on deep learning applications for particle reconstruction and simulation with generative adversarial networks and deep convolutional neural networks.
