Nestor Caticha

Nestor Caticha is a Professor of Physics at the University of São Paulo (USP). Holds a B. Sc. from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and a Ph.D. in Physics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). His main interests are in the area of theoretical physics of information processing systems, with applications to the theory of learning in artificial and biological systems; statistical mechanics; applications to inverse problems; and the study of societies of information processing agents.
